I have spent the last 14 years working with children and adults with communication disabilities. Careful evaluation leads to individualized treatment plans in the areas of speech disorders (such as apraxia of speech, orofacial myofunctional disorders, or developmental articulation disorders), social communication disorders, or language and/or phonological disorders that can impact the development of reading and writing skills. I have worked primarily in the school setting as part of a multidisciplinary team, first at the Experimental Education Unit and then for the public school system. I understand a child’s individual strengths and challenges in relation to grade level expectations, as well as the demands placed on the child in an inclusive school environment.

I am passionate about what I do, enjoy working with all clients, and specialize in providing creative solutions to teaching communication skills within each person’s different social environments.

Call for a free phone consultation. I will help you figure out whether or not an evaluation would be helpful. By special arrangement I am available to provide on-site screenings. I am currently accepting new clients for both individual and group therapy.

If you would like to arrange for a parent or community informational presentation, I would love to join you if scheduling permits! Please contact me at the email address listed above with a description of what you are looking for..
